Chatting up the Ladies
I've gotta get my swing back. I saw Over the Rhine last night @ the Chameleon Club. Not their best show ever, but an excellent one. I did happen to chat up a trio of co-eds, not too bright but easy on the eyes. They (OtR) have a chick on tour with them, Kim Taylor. Smokey vocals very similar to Karin's. Karin and Kim had some real unique harmonies on a couple of songs. I picked up the vinyl version of Ohio and have it spinning right now. Vinyl has such a full sound. Back to the point, OtR was road testing a bunch of new songs from thier new album Drunkard's Prayer. Good stuff. I am really looking forward to getting it soon.
