Anyone else think while watching the State of the Union Address last night "Hey, the Joint Chiefs of Staff Crew look thrilled to be there???" I mean, for God's sake, could you crack a smile please??? Look moderately interested in what the President is saying. I understand that many democrats were busy reading books, filing their nails, sleeping, IM'ing with their friends and couldn't be bothered to pay attention, especially while the world is watching (and the world was watching). The chaiman of the JCOS looked absolutely zoned out. This is the guy who will lead our troops into battle in a short while, you'd think he could feign some signs of life. Maybe not like Charles Schummer, but blinking would be nice.
BTW to Jeff: Wouldn't she be in San Diego???

Ok, don't shoot me or anything, I am somewhat new to this whole "blogging" phenomena and am not sure what i'll fill this space with. But i assure you that it will bore most of you to tears and anger others. I'll write about sports, politics, tv, and music. Will it be coherent??? My best guess is no. Will I dazzle you with pithy comments or original thought??? Again, no. Actually I certainly hope that my writings/ramblings will be derivative of other people I read and have respect for.
